After celebrating his birthday in Mexico, Solomon received a phone call from Ray Jay's management team while boarding plane back to Los Angeles. Ray's team became aware of Solomon's talent while watching him sketch dresses for songstress Elle Varner in 2018. Excited Solomon landed in LA, dropped bags off at home and met the music artist at studio location.
Coincidentally this was not Solomon's first time meeting Ray J, in fact, he was an intern designer at Ray J and Princess wedding in 2016, under the direction of celebrity fashion designer Octavius Terry.
With a sketchbook in hand and a rack of clothes, Solomon impressed Ray's team, with artist wanting to buy the entire collection of clothes instantly. Ray J would later be seen rocking all 4 of the $325.00 SL Tracksuits Fall/Winter 2020. This collaboration would ignite like wildfire placing Ray J and Solomon on several fashion blogs including FashionBombDaily and Bossip.
Solomon would later make headlines with music artist Ray J during versuz battle with Marion & Omarion, where he is seen wearing a $4,000 Libertine Jacket, $210 pair of army fatigue Solomon Lawrence cargo pants, and classic knitted SL T-shirt for $80.00.
